FULL ALERT ((((((aka Stargates In Their Eyes or Stargate - The Musical)))
Ok Kinsey ('Tonight, Matthew, I will be Michael Jackson') breaks into O’Neill’s house and
is waiting for him (let's hope he did the decent thing and did the washing up
while waiting for makeup to transform him), we think that the NID have broken
in because the Teaser shows all of the clips relating to them stealing the
Alkesh from Osiris and escaping. Kinsey is as evillllllll as ever
('You know I'm bad, I'm bad, you know it....' Kinsey can moonwalk, let me tell you!)
Kinsey drinks O’Neill’s whisky ('Just to tell you once again...I'm bad!'), Jack
('Tonight, Matthew, I will be Elvis Presley') calls up a bud to tell them he is
in trouble ('I'm caught in a trap, I can't walk out..') and then they have a
little exposition about how useful Kinsey is to the NID and
behind the scenes knobs ('All the little birdies on jaybird street
Love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet.'
Jack does the whistling and almost the funky chicken as Kinsey sings.).
Kinsey was made an interesting offer. In exchange for a lot of mulla,
Kinsey is to arrange a meeting with a Russian high guy (Kiselev) and the ‘Trust’.
Kinsey and he go back a ways. The Trust are making a direct grab for control
of the gate using the Russian. Kinsey is coming to Jack to get him to help.
The Trust have become a threat to the sovereignty of the USA and Kinsey wants
Jack to help him. ('Heal the world, make it a better place, for you and
for me and the entire human race...' with NID personnel as backing singers,
everyone give me an 'mmmm'.)
Sam, Teal’c and Daniel discuss Kinsey’s idea and decide he is useful on the
inside and they want him to wear a microphone at the meeting. JACK AND HE BANTER
('A little less conversation, a little more action please...' Gotta love the microphone
swingin thing that Jack has goin on there.)
Sam gives him a buckle tracker to wear and fitted a listening device in his collar.
She wants him to think of a codeword to say if he’s in trouble and tries to give
him advice. He pushes her out of the way and leaves.
He meets up and is blindfolded by the NID guys involved in the trust.
They take him to a remote location and the three amigos (Sam, Teal’c and Danny)
follow him with the aid of the buckle in their trusty van (anyone channelling
Scooby Doo here?). He arrives at a plush house and is shown to a stereotypical
gangster house with three bigwigs from the Trust.
They have a whingey chat. In the van, they get jammed and cant see,
but can see. A suitcase is bought out, you cant see in it either but
Kinsey is really open mouthed. Anyone betting a symbiote is involved here?
(Kinsey sings 'Ben, the two of us need look no more, We both found what we
were looking for, With a friend to call my own, I'll never be alone, And you
my friend will see, You've got a friend in me' *snuffle* *wipe nose on sleeve*)
Sam sends in the boys with Teal’c and they are seen to have disappeared.
Oooo errrr leaving a lit cigar for them to find.
(cue Daniel sitting on a swing with Tealc at the piano ..... 'Yes Matthew,
tonight we will be The Carpenters ...We've only just begun...To live...')
Back at the command. Exposition in the brieifing room with Jack
to say that they failed and that they cant see the Alkesh and now they are
sending up Prometheus to take a look.
(I am starting a campaign for
MORE Prometheus stories...for no reason in particular *whistle*)
Sam and Jack banter about her idea for tracking the frequency that
the Alkesh when cloaked shows making odds of finding it 10,000 to 1
instead of a million to one. She goes to do it.
(' ... I'll do what you want me to do,
I'm your private dancer..' Totally blows everyone away in her very
shimmery Tina Turner costume..) Then Jack sends Daniel to Russia to
meet up with the Colonel Checkov and General Kisolev to find out
what’s going on (Jack obviously needs a sit down after that performance...
getting old you know).
Prometheus is searching with Sam’s new programme.
Captain verokova (female incase you’re surprised) meet Danny boy. Daniel is flirting!
(oh like, what a total surprise....)
'Lie to me and I will not protect you. Have you eaten a proper lunch?'
She says and fixes him with a stare.
'Yes on the plane,' he answers. She interrupts him before
he gets to finish.
'Then no you haven’t.'
(Definitely not if its Aeroflot!)
(Cue Danny back on his swing 'Why do birds suddenly appear, every time, you are near?'
Tealc is wondering why he doesn't get to sing but does the sitting at the
piano thing looking soulful very well.)
Russa goes on alert and so USA go to defcon 3…
Confused? I am! (Well it's easily done, to be fair.)
Danny gets to meet with Kiselev with Verokova driving and looking after him.
They are stopped by a squad of heavily armed bozos and Danny is taken for
questioning. She is told she cannot know what is happening. Danny is pissed.
('Rainy days and Mondays always get me down')
Jack meets with Checko...something, they all sound the same to me!
The reason for the Russians upping their alert status is because they
think that the USA administration is compromised.
(And of course they are SO right, but wait, this is just a story....)
So far it’s all setting the story and we are half way through,
will they have enough time to tie it together without rushing?
We’ve Kinsey disappeared, with a symbiote in his head?
My thoughts so far but not shown in the story so far… and Danny captured by the Russians.
(Essay question - Does Daniel Jackson like being someone's biatch? Dash!!! sheesh

Daniel is asked to roll up his sleeve while being questioned.
He has his blood taken and tested, for Naquada? A plot against
the General was uncovered and they won’t let Danny see him and
say that Kinsey is bad guy.
Well d'oh, Military Intelligence...It's a wonder they have mastered fire)
Oh and what do we see? Kinsey as a Goa’uld in a Russian cell.
For Crying out Loud… ('It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark'
Well it had to be done!...rest of cast dress up as zombies and do a
very nifty routine around the gate, thanks to General Hammond live
on Sat link for the spoken section...'Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand' Class. Definately classic!)
Exposition land and explanation. Sam thinks that the Trust have
deliberately bought symbiotes to the world to infiltrate all governments
and high bods. The Russians want the Administration of the USA to take
the blood test, Jack is like NO.
('Return to sender...address unknown...no such number...no such zone'
His top lip curl does leave a bit to be desired though.)
Danny (does look kinda spiffy in a suit... even better as a Carpenter though)
doesn’t have a symbiote and he talks to girly captain to get her to get him
in to talk to Kinsey who is spreading misinformation in the form of all USA
is compromised. ('You've been hit by, a Smooth Criminal...')
Meanwhile the Chinese have done the same and elevated their alert,
Checkovisssh? says that the Russian military is putting pressure on the Russian
pres and that he will try helping (but he's as much use as as a carrot to a killer whale).
Danny meets with Kinsey the Goa’uld. He’s questioning about who he is
and that he thinks he is from the system lords.
('Sing, sing a song, sing out loud, sing out long (dirtbag)')
Defcon 2 for the USA in response to the Chinese and increased
stuff going on in Russia. DJ is in danger too. The USA are sending
stuff out like missiles and stuff.
(and LOADS of junk email, I mean how can he keep trying to enlarge his...ahem)
DJ beams himself and Goa’uld Kinsey to the Prometheus.
He (Kinsey) goes nutty (cos we know Daniel is barking anyway but thought would clarify)
and says you’ve done everything I could never do, you’ve convinced
them that you are infiltrated by the Goa’uld, he does all but laugh manically!
(Tries a reprise of Thriller but Tealc swats him for showboating)
He is put in the brig until he is ready to talk about who is on the inside.
Anyone betting on Kiselev? (too easy a bet)
Jack announces that Russians go to full military preparedness
and so they go to Defcon 1. ('Its now or never' - Superb footwork here and the
spin turn and dip with Checkovisssh? was pure poetry)
Jack, I think, is bluffing for the Checkovissshhees’s benefit and
saying it’s worse than it is. The Pres in Russian thinks that the
USA administration is compromised by the Goa’uld.
Alkesh is behind the Prometheus (in the best pantomine tradition, MORE
Prometheus purlease - Dash is in love with the Colonel in charge of the Prometheus!)
and all the Goa’uld in the NID bods are trying to blow
up the Prometheus because of the Kinsey Goa’uld being a liability.
Kinsey goa kills his captors and Danny/Teal’c rush off to get him.
('Think of all that we've been through, Cos Breaking up is hard to do.'
Nicely choreographed with the gun fight, boys. That's talent.)
Meanwhile Sam finds out that some lackey of Kiselev is compromised with the
Trust and they establish that they are the ones compromised not the USA.
Also that Kiselev is nnot wearing glasses anymore…
('What you get is what you see,
Ain't nothin more to it' Pure class and perfect timing from Sam -
though not sure about the fishnets)
Jack on glasses: Have ya heard of Laser surgery? (bit of trivia for ya -
RDA has had it done in RL)
Kinsey boy (miffed at not being able to sing again)
escapes to the Alkesh and shoots the Goa’uld inside,
the Prometheus (yeah baby yeah - calm down D!) blows up the Alkesh
and Jack yaks with the pres of Russia.
Kiselev tries to set
off a nuke without authorisation while they talk. It's all very tense...not.
Jack says they both know they can’t win only the Goa’uld can as they want them
to wipe each other out. They wait for the Russians to come back to them.
(Jack performs the show stopper 'You'll Never Walk Alone'
to rapturous applause....its probably this that convinces
the Russian pres not to nuke America....*wipes tears from eyes*)
Meanwhile the Russians stand down after establishing that they
do have a prob and all’s well that ends well.
Kinsey is missing and probably escaped before the Alkesh blew up.
The original tale was a little predictable but hey,
